Energy Savings
- It's not very efficient to run the air
conditioning or heater when someone has left a door or
window open. We can program your system to turn off in the
event this happens. With additional integration of smoke
detectors, the AC/Heater can be shut off in response to
smoke to avoid spreading it to the rest of the home. Turn
off lights that are accidentally left on.
Security- Your home can have a "lived in" look
while you are away to deter would be thieves. Receive
notification of pre defined events. For example, you would
like to know when your children are home from school or
when the cleaning company enters your home. Your system can
e-mail or text message you to alert you of the event. As
with any security system, unauthorized entrance can cause
notification to a monitoring facility or any number you
would prefer.
Comfort- Never come home to a dark, cold
house again. Most modern homes have a programmable
thermostat, but what if you are going to come home early?
Simply log in to your system via internet or telephone and
start the heating or air conditioning earlier; or later to
save energy. Lighting can be programmed to come on at
sunset, a desired time or in response to other stimuli like
the garage door opening.
Centralized Control - Have control over
the entire house. From one touch screen you can:
- Turn off upstairs lights before you leave the home.
- Choose your favorite music and what room you would like to hear it in.
- Change the set point for your thermostat.
- See who is at the door and unlatch it.
- See and change the security status of the house.
These are only a few examples, there are many more options available.
Remote Access - Have the ability to control your home from remote locations. Imagine, from any touch tone telephone, you can dial into your system and access the menus the same as if you were standing right at the key pad. For even greater control, access your system via the internet and look at live video to determine the status of the house. All these methods are secure and require authentication befor access is granted to your home.
Remote Notification - Wouldn't it be great to have your house call you when there is a problem? We can program your system to notify you when moisture sensors detect water in a critical area, or if the temperature drops below a pre-set value. As mentioned above, you could also be notified when certain users disarm the system. Now you know when the kids are home or the cleaning service has arrived.
